the two thousand and fifteen vintage was a difficult one for grape growers. not only did california enter its third year of drought conditions but also there was some uneven weather patterns during the major points of the growing season that impacted our yields. the low yield had an impact on all varieties but we saw the biggest hit in chardonnay and because of that our flagship bottling leans more towards our inspiration for annia as a friulian white wine. tocai and ribolla play a prominent role in the wine this vintage and we look forward to continuing that theme in future years.
